Our Client, Healthcare Arm of prominent Saudi Business Group, is establishing Support Services Hub in Amman – Jordan is looking to hire Senior Demand Planner to be based in Amman – Jordan and reports to Supply & Demand Planning Manager.

Summary:
Senior Demand Planner helps the business to ensure and maintain sufficient stock and inventory levels to fulfill customer demand based on pre-established sales forecasts by reducing losses, costs, and expiries.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts at SKU, category and brand levels
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer behavior to build accurate demand plans
- Provide forecast accuracy regular reports to management
- Provide 12 months forecast for key suppliers segregated by brand, category, and SKU
- Validates purchase requisitions before sharing with the suppliers against the stock level and running rates
2. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing overstocking and avoiding out of stock
- Support inventory reduction and optimization initiatives
3. Cross-Functional collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to align on demand assumptions
- Participate in S&OP meetings and present forecasts insights
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Perform root cause analysis for shortages, overstock, and forecast variances
- Prepare dashboards and reports to support decision-making
5. Systems and Process Improvements
- Maintain demand planning tools and templates
- Support automation, simplification, and process optimization initiatives
6. Phase-in Phase-out Management
- Coordinate with sales team and supplier the new item introduction to the market
- Optimize the losses during the switch window
- Ensure new item readiness internally and externally
- Ensure full depletion of phase-out SKU before introducing the new item

Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
2. 2-5 years’ experience in supply planning (Preferable in medical, pharma, or FMCG distribution)
Preferred Skills & Competences:
· Good knowledge of planning frameworks (statistical forecasting methods, Consensus forecasting, WAPE/MAPEX, BIAS)
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
· Proficiency in ERP (preferably Oracle Fusion)
· Excellent problem solving, written/verbal communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration
· High attention to details
· Data-driven decision making
