Role Objective:
Responsible for developing, directing, and managing the Quality Control system across the manufacturing operations, to ensure full compliance with quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and build a strong quality-focused culture company-wide.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develop, organize, and manage quality control activities, including incoming material inspection, finished product inspection, in-process quality inspection (machines, tools, operators, and products), and calibration of gauges, testing equipment, and machinery.
2. Build and maintain quality awareness as part of the overall company culture.
3. Ensure product quality complies with specifications in all aspects.
4. Contribute to the implementation and documentation of a company-wide quality assurance system in accordance with the ISO 9000 series of standards.
5. Establish quality targets and tolerances for all products company-wide.
6. Ensure QC work is carried out in accordance with established policies so that departmental objectives are consistently achieved.
7. Ensure QC reports are prepared for all components with tolerances that are neither too tight, causing unnecessary cost overruns, nor too wide, affecting tool performance.
8. Establish and document tolerance guidelines and acceptance criteria, and circulate this knowledge within the department and across other departments to raise overall quality awareness.
9. Continuously support manufacturing and other technical functions in troubleshooting in-process component manufacturing and/or assembly issues, resolving problems in the most economical way without compromising quality.
10. Coordinate and schedule QC job orders and related work according to set priorities and Production requirements, ensuring project deadlines are met through effective management of available resources, and that any delays are compensated to keep projects on schedule.
11. Manage and develop continuous improvement methods across the quality function.
12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, with multiple training courses in quality control.
• Master's degree in a related technical or engineering field is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in production and quality control for products requiring mixed manufacturing, combining component manufacturing of composites, plastics, metalworking, fabrication, electrical and electronic systems, and integration and assembly.
• Minimum of 10 years in a senior quality control management role, with a demonstrated leadership track record in achieving excellence in building a quality team.
• Demonstrated high-level experience and ability to develop and document QC inspection standard operating procedures for electromechanical and mechatronic systems.
• Experience in the implementation and documentation of company-wide quality assurance systems in accordance with the ISO 9000 series of standards.
Technical Skills:
